Professional Drug Testing Education Backed by Industry Experience
Accredited Training Academy (ATA) provides specialized online education for individuals, employers, and organizations involved in workplace drug and alcohol testing. Our training programs are designed to strengthen regulatory knowledge, improve collection procedures, and help professionals understand their responsibilities under federal drug and alcohol testing regulations.
As the professional training division of Accredited Drug Testing, Inc., ATA combines industry experience with structured educational programs developed for today's workforce screening professionals.
Our courses serve students throughout the United States, including individuals entering the drug testing industry, experienced specimen collectors, employers, Designated Employer Representatives (DERs), supervisors, and Consortium/Third-Party Administrators (C/TPAs).
ATA's approach to professional education emphasizes regulatory understanding, practical application, accurate documentation, and the development of skills needed to support compliant drug and alcohol testing programs.
Our Background in Drug & Alcohol Testing
Accredited Training Academy was created to address the need for accessible, comprehensive, and practical training within the drug and alcohol testing industry.
Through our relationship with Accredited Drug Testing, Inc., our educational programs benefit from knowledge of nationwide testing operations, employer compliance programs, collection site procedures, laboratory coordination, and the responsibilities of regulated testing service agents.
We recognize that successful drug testing professionals need more than familiarity with regulations. They must understand how to apply established procedures, identify potential errors, maintain accurate records, and respond appropriately to situations encountered during testing.
Online DOT Drug Testing Training Programs
ATA offers online, self-paced training courses covering essential functions within DOT-regulated and non-DOT workplace testing programs.
DOT Urine Specimen Collector Training
Our DOT urine specimen collector training introduces students to collection responsibilities, specimen handling, Federal Custody and Control Form documentation, problem collections, and procedures established under 49 CFR Part 40.
Students pursuing DOT collector qualification must also satisfy applicable proficiency demonstration requirements.
DOT Oral Fluid Collector Training
ATA provides education covering DOT oral fluid specimen collection procedures, donor identification, specimen security, collection devices, documentation, and regulatory responsibilities.
Oral fluid collector qualification requires completion of applicable training and proficiency demonstration requirements under DOT regulations.
Breath Alcohol Technician (BAT) and STT Training
Our alcohol testing education addresses the responsibilities of Breath Alcohol Technicians and Screening Test Technicians, including alcohol screening procedures, evidential breath testing equipment, documentation, and applicable DOT requirements.
Designated Employer Representative (DER) Training
ATA's DER training helps employers and designated representatives understand their responsibilities when administering workplace drug and alcohol testing programs.
Topics include testing requirements, employee violations, communication with service agents, recordkeeping, and compliance responsibilities under applicable federal regulations.
Supervisor Reasonable Suspicion Training
Our reasonable suspicion training provides supervisors with instruction on recognizing and documenting observable signs and symptoms that may support reasonable suspicion testing determinations.
C/TPA and Drug Testing Business Training
ATA also provides professional development programs for individuals interested in operating drug testing businesses, managing employer testing programs, and providing Consortium/Third-Party Administrator services.
These courses address operational responsibilities, industry practices, employer relationships, and the importance of regulatory compliance in building sustainable service organizations.
